My name is Chandran Iyer, and I've worn many hats in my professional journey, from being a Journalist to now a Media Coach. But what truly ignites my passion is the art of coaching, and today, I want to share with you a transformative opportunity in the world of Smartphone Filmmaking.
Let me take you back to my humble beginnings in a small town called Ratlam in Madhya Pradesh. I was raised in a simple, middle-class family, where my most prized possession was a basic Atlas bicycle that took me to school every day. I am the son of Narayan Mahadevan, a retired railway clerk, and my mother, a dedicated housewife.
Fast forward to today, and I am the Editor and Publisher of Corporate Tycoons, a renowned monthly Business and Travel magazine. This magazine was awarded the Best Business & Travel Magazine in the year 2023 at the hands of Maharashtra Chief Minister Mr Eknath Shinde. But my true calling lies in coaching, and alongside my wife Pratibha, a television journalist, we have embarked on a mission close to our hearts.
Our mission is to empower and inspire the next generation of storytellers. We aim to train 100,000 students in the art of Smartphone Filmmaking, Smartphone Journalism, and various facets of Media and journalism. Together, we have already empowered over 4000 individuals to harness the power of their smartphones to create compelling visual stories.
What sets me apart in this field is not just my extensive experience in the mainstream media but my unwavering commitment to making Smartphone Filmmaking accessible to all.
